Conventional braces will straighten your teeth. However, unlike Invisalign®, which is a system that uses removable clear plastic aligners, wires and brackets can be uncomfortable and downright painful.
Comfortable and Virtually Invisible
Conventional wires and brackets need to be pulled and pushed to help your teeth along. Unfortunately, your dentist needs to make adjustments for the entire treatment period. Wearing braces can hurt and could cause injury to your teeth and gums. If you break a wire, you run the risk of cutting your cheek or your tongue.
Although conventional braces have changed over the years, people will still know that you are wearing them. With Invisalign®, the only ones who will be the wiser are you, Rodeo Dental, and the people you choose to tell.
Invisalign® uses between 11 and 31 clear plastic aligners that you will swap out once a week. Because you are doing the adjusting yourself with each new set of clear plastic aligners, you will only need to see Rodeo Dental once every six weeks to make sure that your Invisalign® treatment is going according to plan.
Invisalign® patients will see results in as little as six months with the average being between 12 and 18 months. Unlike conventional braces, you will not have to wait two years for straight teeth.
If Rodeo Dental determines that you are a good candidate for Invisalign®, pictures and impressions will be taken for a custom fit. Once your aligners are ready, Rodeo Dental will give you instructions for your Invisalign® custom plan.
You will wear your clear plastic aligners for 20 to 22 hours each day, removing only for eating, brushing, and flossing.
You really can have a beautiful new smile without conventional braces. Call or click and schedule a no obligation Invisalign® consultation with Rodeo Dental today.
