Rodeo Dental Service Updates

Patient Safety is Paramount

Rodeo Dental was founded on the belief that every child and family deserves access to high-end dental care. We were very particular about the type of company we wanted to build, so we created Nine Core Values that defined who we wanted to be, how we would operate, and what our patients could expect when interacting with our Doctors and Staff.

The Rodeo Team believes that a company’s first Core Value is much like a first priority. More importantly, we viewed it as a strategic design choice that would guide us in times of uncertainty and doubt. We are proud to have selected “Patient Safety is Paramount” as our 1st Core Value, and are reminded of its importance every day. Our Core Values are on display online and in all Rodeo Offices for patients, doctors, and staff to see.

New Type of Coronavirus

As you know, a new Safety Threat has emerged in the form of a new coronavirus known as COVID-19. Companies across the world are taking precautionary steps to protect their employees and customers and slow down the progression of COVID-19. Rodeo Dental is leading the charge in COVID-19 infection control and emergency dental services.

Infection Control and Sterilization

At Rodeo, our obsession with Patient Safety is built on our best-in-class Infection Control Protocol and significant investments in sterilization technologies, employee training, and monitoring activities. We look to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease and Control (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Texas Dental Association (TDA) for guidance and are monitoring developments in real-time.

Our Social Responsibility

Where the COVID-19 pandemic is concerned, Dental Offices have a social responsibility to help. First, our doctors are only performing emergency treatment in order to respect ADA guidelines. This includes high-risk conditions such as extensive tooth decay, exposed cavities, and abscessed teeth where pain is persistent. The Rodeo Dental teams are stepping up and actively working to prevent dental related emergency room visits so that medical facilities and personnel can focus on the potential surge of COVID-19 health cases.

Some Appointments are Being Rescheduled

Per the ADA Guidance, Rodeo Dental teams are rescheduling non-emergency or elective dental appointments to April 30th or beyond. We will reach out to you via phone and/or text to reschedule and confirm your appointments.

Rodeo Doctors are Currently Serving These Types of Patients

Rodeo Dental offices continue to see patients and perform Emergency types of services. This includes the following symptoms or scenarios:

  • Severe pain or toothache
  • Swelling (gums, neck, or face)
  • Tooth infection or abscess
  • Continuous bleeding in the mouth
  • Severe decay that requires immediate attention
  • Emergency Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontics, and Oral Surgery cases

Patient Evaluations

In order to protect our patients, doctors, and staff, all patients will be evaluated for fever, cough or flu-like symptoms. If you exhibit any of these symptoms, we will gladly reschedule your appointment and refer you to your medical health care provider.

Stay Healthy and Stop the Spread of Germs!

The CDC publishes a number of best practices that are designed to prevent the transmission of respiratory diseases like COVID-19. Help us prevent the spread of germs at Rodeo, in your Home, and throughout your Community by following CDC guidelines:

  • Wash Your Hands: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Apply Hand Sanitizer: Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid Close Contact: Keep your distance from people that are sick.
  • Use Cough Etiquette: Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then dispose of the tissue. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow -not your hands.
  • Greet Without Hands: Avoid shaking hands and nod, wave, bow, or bump elbows.
  • Protect Your Face: Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Wear PPE gear when appropriate.
  • Clean and Disinfect: Use proper cleaning supplies to disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Clean and disinfect regularly!

Thank you for choosing Rodeo Dental as your trusted Health Care Provider! Rest assured that we are in close communications with world health organizations as well as state and local officials. We continue to obsess over Patient Safety and commit to #DoTheRightThing even when it’s difficult, inconvenient, or unpopular!
